11 Years Married: A Thank You to My Rock

Today marks 11 years married to my wife—and damn, what a journey it’s been.

She’s not just my wife. She’s my best friend, my teammate, the mother of our two beautiful kids, and the reason I’ve been able to do any of this at all.

I know this blog is usually about day trading, mindset, and the no-BS path to consistency—but today I’m giving credit where it’s due. Because none of that matters without the foundation behind it. And for me, that foundation has always been my family.

She Was There When It Was All Just a Grind

Before the schedules. Before the courses. Before the Discord community. Before the YouTube channel or indicators…

It was just me, charts, and long nights trying to figure out what the hell I was doing.

I studied every strategy known to man. I’d stay up ridiculously late and set alarms for premarket just to catch moves and accelerate my learning curve. And through it all—there she was. Steady. Supportive. Never complaining.

She didn’t care if I made money that day. She cared that I didn’t give up.

She saw potential in me when I was just trying not to blow up another small account. She kept me grounded when my wins went to my head and lifted me up when the losses got heavy.

Now I Understand Balance

Back then, I thought hustle was everything. I thought the more hours I stared at the screen, the faster I’d get it.

And yes, work ethic matters—but I’ve learned something more important since then: Without balance, nothing lasts.

Nowadays, I protect my time with my wife and kids. I’ve built structure in my life—not just my trading. And I’m damn proud of that. Because being successful in this game means nothing if you lose yourself or your family in the process.

Gratitude Doesn’t Always Look Like a Grand Gesture

Sometimes it just looks like saying it out loud.

Thank you to my wife. For the quiet support. For the patience. For being my rock in every chapter of this story.

And thank you to my family—because trading can be a lonely path if you don’t have people in your corner. I’m lucky to have mine.

Final Thought

Life is weird like that. You chase money, purpose, growth—and then you realize the greatest win was already standing beside you.

So yeah, I’m thankful to be alive today. Thankful for 11 years of marriage. And if you’re reading this, maybe take a minute to thank the ones who’ve stood by your side through the grind.

Because no win in the market feels as good as peace at home.
